Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. She was on the website until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She also appeared as a guest star on Midnight Screenings is a regular occasion. The show reviews horrible films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult comedy. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to review movies, and gained popularity in forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the family of network movie critics. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
